# The Lottery

Simply buy the tickets, wait for the draw, and check the result to see whether your ticket wins or not!

If the digits on your tickets match the winning numbers in the correct order, you win a portion of the prize pool. Simply buy the tickets, wait for the draw, and check the result to see whether your ticket wins or not!

There will be a draw at **08:00 AM UTC** every day to find the lucky number, users **NEED** to buy the Lottery tickets before **07:45 AM UTC**, after that, the system will be closed for **15 minutes** to ready for the draw.

## Buying "Lottery" tickets

1. Click "**Buy Ticket Now!**" to purchase the tickets.
2. A pop-up window will appear, and then you can choose the total amount of tickets you want to purchase by clicking "**Buy Instantly**" and confirming the transaction.

3. Another special thing for users is that you can view/edit the numbers in your purchased tickets at "**View/Edit Raffle Numbers**"

4. You can either choose to randomize the numbers in the ticket by clicking "**Randomize**" or simply tap a number to edit your desired numbers. Once you finish, click "**Confirm and buy**" to purchase the ticket.

5. You can buy more tickets by clicking "**Buy more tickets**" or you can view your purchased tickets in the "**View your tickets**" tab.

## Winning Criteria

The numbers on your ticket must match in the correct order to win, from left to right.

Here’s an example, with two tickets, A and B.

* **Ticket A:** The first 3 numbers and the last 2 numbers match, but the 4th number is wrong, so this ticket only wins a “Match first 3 numbers” prize.
* **Ticket B:** Even though the last 5 numbers match, the first number is wrong, so this ticket doesn’t win a prize.

\*Prize pots don’t ‘stack’: if you match the first 3 digits in order, you’ll only win from the "Match first 3 numbers" prize pot, and not from "Match first 1 number" and "Match first 2 numbers" ones.

## Prize Funds

* **Ticket Purchases**

All the money ($SUI) paid by people buying tickets goes into the prize pools.

* **Rollover Prizes**

20% of the total ticket purchases from every round are saved in the Treasury. Any unclaimed winnings will be added to the prize pools of the next round.

* **Claim Fees**

When someone wins, they'll be charged 5% of their total winnings as platform fees.
